Nowadays Cultural Diversity, Multiculturalism and Sports are highly valued in the context of a global world, being among the central concerns of Institutions, professionals and the population in general.
However, society, namely formal education has not adjusted to these changes, yet. Attempting uniformity by ignoring difference results in integration problems for individuals of different cultural backgrounds living in a cultural context other than their own.
Sports is a means of socialization and interaction,therefore it can help decrease the problems mentioned before.
These topics imply a new methodological and epistemological repositioning, in terms of research, intervention and training, which creates new challenges to the societies and politics of the 21st century. Such challenges are associated to the need of managing and coping with cultural diversity, identities, conflicts, and intercultural education and communication.
The duration of the course is 7 days. For Full Pack the price is 980€ (including course fee, accommodation in Hotel Eurosol with breakfast, all lunches at school, four dinners and all cultural activities). This amount can be fully covered via an Erasmus+ grant provided by your National Agency. Don’t hesitate to ask us for any help you might need during your registration.
The participants who aren’t interested in acquiring the full pack will have to book the Hotel themselves and will have free time while the others are doing the cultural activities scheduled for the 2nd and 4th day. This pack is 600€ (including course fee, all lunches at school, two dinners and the visit to the castle and MIMO museum).
Methodology
The main aspect of the course is to promote collaboration between participants. Lessons will be held in our labs and all around the city as the main objective is to learn while having fun. Our approach is to centre the teaching process in practical rather than theoretical knowledge. The course is designed to enhance learning from practice. All trainers are experienced in implementing European projects and digital competencies.
